Bigg Boss OTT 2: Pooja Bhatt Opens Up On Her Divorce, Says ‘I Did Not Want Kids’

Pooja Bhatt was talking to her co-contestant Bebika Dhurve when she opened up about her personal life in the recent epiode of Bigg Boss OTT 2.

Bollywood actress Pooja Bhatt is currently locked inside Bigg Boss OTT 2 house. In the recent episode of Salman Khan’s show, Pooja opened up about her broken marriage. She was married to Manish Makhija for 11 years before the two decided to part ways in 2014.

Pooja Bhatt was talking to her co-contestant Bebika Dhurve when she opened up about her personal life. “I was married for almost 11 years. Then we decided that something is not right so why to live a lie. This was not a dress rehearsal, we get only one chance,” she said and then added, “He was not an actor, but he belonged to the media business, and he was a good man.”

, surprised everyone by entering the show as a contestant. In the recent episode, the actress-director talked about her addiction and recovery from alcohol at the age of 44.

, who suffered from the same problem and gave up drinking at 46, Pooja said she never wanted to hide about her battle with addiction or recovery and it is something that got her criticism from many.

She said, “I realised I had a drinking problem. That is why I openly let everyone know about my addiction and how I have decided to quit drinking. Because addiction and recovery hindustan mein mard ki jageer hai. Society gives license to men that they can speak up about alcohol addiction

and recovery. However, women don’t openly drink and so they don’t openly recover. I used to drink openly so when I thought of recovering from alcoholism I realised that why should I recover in the closet?”

but then I said I’m a recovering alcoholic

Talking about the episode, Cyrus Broacha got into a spat with Puneet Superstar about cleaning the toilet. It irked several other housemates to the extent that when Bigg Boss asked them if Puneet should be evicted from the house, they all said ‘yes’.

Meanwhile, Manisha Rani got all flirtatious with international model Jad Hadid. She kissed him and said, “I love you to the moon and back.” Jad didn’t back out either from confessing his feelings to her. Are they the first couple in the making on Bigg Boss OTT 2?

Things are getting heated up in the Big Boss OTT season 2 house. The show, which premiered last week, has various known personalities from the field of entertainment battling it out in the house. Needless to say, tempers are flying. A case in point is an argument that broke out between Akanksha Puri and Avinash Sachdev. It all started when the two actors began to discuss some house duties – in particular, jhaadu [sweeping]. As per a teaser shared by Voot, Akanksha Puri, Avinash Sachdev and Palak Purswani are seen together when Avinash says, “Maine sirf usko itna bola ki main jharu maar raha hu, khana kha le…and she goes ‘Safai toh hogi! (I just told her I am cleaning, you eat, and she goes, ‘You have to clean’).”

At this point, Palak Purswami interjects, “Safai toh hogi nahi… kaam nahi rukega. (Not that you have to clean but that the work must not stop).”

Akanksha Puri interrupts to say that she does not want to concern herself with the issues between Avinash Sachdev and Palak Purswani. For context, Avinash Sachdev and Palak Purswani were previously engaged. Akanksha Puri then also points out that Avinash has been snapping at her unnecessarily. “Aap mujhpe snap mat karo na, aap jo unke saath hain uska alag rakho (Do not snap at me. You keep your frustration with her aside),” she tells Avinash Sachdev, who denies being aggressive at all.

As mentioned above, Avinash Sachdev and Palak Purswani celebrated their engagement in January 2021 but broke up soon after.

This year, the contestent list of Biggboss OTT also includes Aaliya Siddiqui, Cyrus Broacha, Pooja Bhatt, Falaq Naaz, Jiya Shankar, Abhishek Malhan, Manisha Rani, Bebika Dhurve, and Puneet Kumar.

Social media star Puneet Kumar is the first one to be evicted from the ongoing reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2. Salman Khan is hosting the show.

Just hours after he entered the Bigg_Boss OTT 2 house, social media star Puneet Kumar was evicted from the show. The announcement came early Sunday. Puneet was among the last ones to enter the house on Saturday night when the show premiered on Jio Cinema. (Also read: When Puneet superstar enters the show Salman Khan said him to calm down)

Puneet Sharma, also known as Puneet Superstar, was collectively evicted by his co-contestants. On their first day inside the house, Bigg Boss had to school Puneet when he smeared toothpaste all over himself.

Later, other participants on the show collectively voted Puneet out of the house. The producers have promised to reveal the entire story behind his eviction at 9 pm on Sunday.

Puneet is known for his eccentric social media videos and was placed at rank 10 by the panelists during the Bigg Boss OTT 2 premiere Saturday evening. Cricketer Ajay Jadeja, Sunny Leone and Bigg Boss 16 winner and rapper MC Stan were the panelists grilling all the contestants before they entered the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house on Saturday.

Upon his entry, Puneet was ranked #2 by the audience and the panelists gave him the #10 slot. He also got 20000 Bigg Boss house currency.

Other contestants on the show include TV actors Falaq Naaz , Jiya Shankar, Abhishek Malhan, Akanksha Puri, Bebika Dhurve, Avinash Sachdev and Palak Purswani. TV anchor-comedian Cyrus Broacha, Bollywood actor-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt, and TikTok star Manisha Rani, along with Lebanon model Jad Hadid are also participating in the show. The former wife of Nawazuddin Siddiqui – Aaliya Siddiqui – is also one of the contestants on Bigg Bos OTT 2.
